A return to the design style of the Hermes Destroyer, the Freedom Defense Frigate was a stop-gap design built soley to project power in those areas and instances where a full-blown warship is not necessary. To this end the Freedom performs its mission. The Freedom is sturdier than the Hermes, but also lacks the amount of weaponry that the Hermes had.
