The Shelley Military Transport is a converted Excelsior hull redesigned to hold bulk loads of cargo and the shuttles to ferry them.
Effective in its mission, the Shelley's service in Starfleet has been a very quiet one.
I have seen it called both a Shelley and a Curry, and Shelley sounds better to me, as I have never liked ships that were named
after the show's personnel (does anyone really want to imagine an EA Earls-class anything?).
