| Description: |
The first ship reverse engineered and redesigned for Kylon use, the Druvod is the most flexible ship in the Kylon fleet to date. The Druvod is based upon the K'Thonn M'Peh Military Transport, of which the Kylon acquired two during the K'Thonn Rebellion.
The Kylon Union saw the chance to open up their starlanes to others, and the M'Peh was the perfect tool. Retaining half the normal cargo room, the Druvod replaced the forward cargo bays with a mix of heavy and light weapons. The standard weapons slot left vacant in the forward structure (as the K'Thonn had, wisely, extracted the Hellbore Cannons from the forward hull) was replaced by a single Pulse Laser Cannon to help bolster the heavy weapon's complement.
[Optional Rule] For 30 points, the Druvod can alter each of its cargo bays to hold a flight of light fighters; the cargo bay, while acting like a hangar, has a 3 fighters per turn launch rate. Every fighter requires 3 boxes of the cargobay to berth and the same situation applies as per hangars when damage is taken. Example: A flight of Jalthas are docked in the port cargopod of a Druvod. An incoming Hellbore Cannon blast hits the cargo-bay for 4 points, removing 4 points of structure from the cargo-bay and destroying one Jaltha.
