The Kaloria Missile Tender was built to meet the needs of the expanding Bintari Federation. When the Bintari controlled only a scant few systems logistics was not a problem, but expansion and claiming of new territories left the Bintari military forces spread throughout half a dozen systems. The existing logistics network was not suited for this environment, so the Naval Arm set forth to remedy the situation.

The Kaloria Missile Tender is a very large capital ship, and actually one of the largest ships that the Bintari constructed before the Kudronni Mothership. Thinly armored and weakly armed, the Kaloria is little more than a flying munitions depot replete with the missile storage to resupply an entire battlegroup.

The Kaloria saw great service during the K'Thonn Rebellion as they were commonly sent to the front lines to support Tymbrimi Missile Cruisers. Though that conflict spelled the end for the Tymbrimi, the Kaloria remained a stalwart tender and transport and saw limited construction for years afterwards.

As of 2060, seven Kaloria Missile Tenders remained in service with more being built as needed to support the Bintari navy.
