The planetary assault version of the Strike Cruiser, it exchanges two squadrons of TIE fighters for an expanded barracks and shuttle capacity. In addition, the Assault Cruiser carries 5 AT-ATs, a fearsome addition to any Stormtrooper attack.

| The Assault Cruiser has the same Vulnerable to Critical Hits flaw as the Strike Cruiser, as well as an expanded chance to hit the Primary from the Forward and Aft sections. |
