| Description: |
The main Hapan ship of the line, there is one battle dragon for every planet in the Consortium; at least 63 are known.
A powerful design, it has several unusual features. One, it lacks radiant sensors, so if it doesn't have a lock on to a ship or fighter flight it doubles it's range penalties. Two, Hapan turbolaser technology is antiquated, with a slower rate of fire. To get around this, it uses a rotating battle ring that can bring new TL batteries to bear every turn. Finally, the ships are equipped with Pulse Mass Generators that provide small but effective gravity masses that can keep ships from jumping to hyperspace.
Despite these flaws, it is a potent ship with admirable firepower, and does particularly well against single large opponents, such as the Galactic Empire often chooses to utilize.
