Description: |
A modular design, the Strike Cruiser was intended as a cheap construction unit, as the cost of the Emperor's war machine and super weapons began to express its toll on the galactic economy.
A strong overall design, Loronar Systems provided a combination of striking power, agility and respectable shield capability. The modular design also allowed for quick conversions to its various variants, including escort carrier and assault versions.
However, the versatile nature of the craft was also its weakness, as it was vulnerable to critical hits shorting out entire banks of weapons.
A infrequent sight during the height of the Galactic Civil War, in later days the Imperial Remnant came to rely more and more on the economical design.

Design Notes: |
The Strike Cruiser has the flaw Vulnerable to Critical Hits, as well as a slighly broader Primary hit chance on the Forward and Aft hull charts.
