| Description: |
A refit of the older Dreadnought Cruiser of the Clone Wars, modifications to the shield generators, upgraded turbolasers, and TIE fighter racks allowed the Imperial Navy to justify the massive expenditure in men and materials these battlewagons needed for their logistical support.
The Dreadnoughts once again came into prominence during Grand Admiral Thrawn's campaign against the new republic, as the recovery of the Katanna fleet enhanced the navy of his Imperial faction.
