| Description: |
A second line unit, the Customs Corvette still performs adequately in its role despite its obsolescent weapons. The triple and dual chaingun turrets have severe range limitations, and while the medium blast cannons it carries are useful they are hardly intimidating. Indeed, the riches of the spice smugglers often allow their ships to out arm the CHOAM ships trying to respond to them!
Still, the supplemental systems on a CCC include tractor beams to halt the flight of smugglers and a hangar bay outfitted for four breaching pods that carry Customs Marines. This improvements make the CHOAM Customs Corvette very good at its job.
