A very small scout ship, D'renet Scouts operates primarily on the borders of Romulan space, hiding in the shadows and gathering intelligence information. A well
built small ship, the D'renet is the standard Romulan science vessel--analagous to the Federation Oberth or Nova classes--and as such is not meant
for mainline combat.
