The Douachar Fleet Carrier was one of the newer carrier designs to be fielded by the ak-Tai at the time of the War of the Seven Stars. Although several larger or faster carrier designs existed, none were as common as the Douachar.
Douachars are fast enough to keep pace with the faster ak-Tai ships and has better speed than most carriers.
