Description:

Following the liberation of Narn, the Narn military set out to try their best to rebuild the once great Narn navy. Few ships remained in the fleet, and those that had survived destruction at Centauri hands did not constitute a formidable fighting force.

In an attempt to remedy this situation, the Narns brought into service variations of the Var'Nic hull using alternate hull configurations and in the process eliminating that ship's assymetrical design.

The Var'Nit Escort Cruiser was built as a heavy escort hull for use in escorting warship patrols along the increasingly volatile Narn/Centauri border.
