One of the few missile cruisers employed by the Sshel'ath Alliance, the Kasolra Bombardment Cruiser is designed specifically as a fleet support element. In a fleet environment the amount of ballistic firepower a single Kasolra adds to the fray can be significant. A single Kasolra can fire enough missiles at the enemy to cripple enemy warships and, when combined with the missile fire from other fleet elements, can effectively neutralize enemy warships at range. Because of the logistical strain of maintaining each Kasolra deployment numbers have been limited.
