Kudronni Mothership
Description:

The Kudronni Mothership is the largest vessel ever constructed by the Bintari Federation. This enormous vessel was built specifically as a base of operations from which to launch an exploratory survey into the neighboring nebula.

The Kudronni is equipped with enough weaponry to amply take on the heavy cruiser of any other race and win -- something that it would need to do if contact was made with a hostile force in the nebula, something that was a very real possibility in the minds of Bintari leaders.

The Kudronni was named for the first Shantor Scout to be destroyed at the hands of the K'Thonn. It served successfully in its tour of duty and was responsible for charting half a dozen star systems in the neighboring nebula before its return to Bintari space.

Design Notes:

This large ship was central to the Bintari story arc in the campaign, and really its construction and successful completion of its mission was the climax of the Bintari/K'Thonn Saga. In fielding this ship and probing the mysteries of the nebula, they managed to overcome their fear of the unknown and truly take their place as the major power they were.

The Kudronni, as well as its Shantor namesake, is named after Satai Kudronni of the Minbari Federation.
