This older Circasian carrier was used heavily during the early days of the Circasian space fleet. Small for a carrier, the Cairn Carrier can operate four flights of fighters, including a single flight of heavy fighters. Cairn Carriers were commonly used as convoy escorts or as support elements in Circasian patrol fleets. The Cairn’s fighters were effective deterrents against enemy fighters and the fighter support these fleet elements provided was invaluable.
