The Vree experimented with mounting light antimatter torpedo weapons on their Tzymm Heavy Fighter as a response to growing galactic tensions just prior to the outbreak of war among the League. This new rare fighter variant, the Tzyxx Torpedo Fighter, boasted important stand-off firepower that could be of vital importance to the Ventuki Conglomerate.
The Tzyxx Torpedo Fighter proved to be mostly inadequate in combat. The loss of the light antimatter cannon vastly decreased the raw firepower potential of the hull and the antimatter torpedo was not sufficient to make up for its absence.
