| Description: |
As the Komo Val Battleship continued to age, the Klingon Defense Forces continued to periodically update them. However, in the 2320s, the Klingons decided that, rather than updating the battleships any further, they would begin construction on a new-build battleship. This new interim battleship would be based on the basic Komo Val spaceframe, but would receive major modifications to enhance performance.
The K'mirra Battleships were always rare, rarer even than the Komo Vals, but they served as perfect flagship units for the Klingon fleet. Only their numbers limited their usefulness.
